We meticulously dry-render our beef suet (meaning we remove the impurities without the use of salt/water, to preserve is amazing nutrient-dense form). We purposely source the kidney fat from a local, regenerative ranch in Colorado with the highest quality standards. It is grass-fed and grass-finished; free from harmful additives and preservatives that may be found in conventional tallow.
No two cattle are alike; color, consistency & scent may vary due to the unique and natural variations in each batch. Very slight "beef" aroma may be present but should dissipate upon application.
*Please know that fat/oils melt & solidify with temperature fluctuation and can lead to the formation of tiny, bead-like grains in our balms; rest assured, this is normal & will not affect the balm's quality or safety for use.
