About

Meet Jess Tracy, Owner + Maker of all Cowboy Traily Supply Co. products

Originally from Newport Beach, California, born in 1987, mama to Bear, wife to Matt. We now live in a small, beautiful mountain town tucked in the corner of southwest Colorado - Durango.

The honest truth, my passion for herbalism and a more hollistic lifestyle wasn't always a focus, nor even my radar at times, but it peaked during my journey into motherhood: surviving three miscarriages, two ectopic pregancies, and then being blessed with our son Bear in 2019 ... I was absolutely rocked during these years, mentally, physically, and during all this, we moved twice, to two different states: from coastal, to an arid desert, and then high-desert/apline... So not only did I have unstable hormones and wild body changes, my skin truly suffered. I questioned SO much during this time!

Ultimately, my perspectives changed, my routines... and I gradually shifted to a more natural way of life: cooking with whole foods, gardening, and making trials upon trials of natural skincare alternatives ...  Sure my family may have thought I was a bit kooky at times, but my boys are without a doubt my biggest supporters! I love who I've become, and what I've learned; Cowboy Trail Supply Co. truly stems from my heart... I built this all to share what we've found to be successful in our kitchen apothecary, and the remedies that actually work, naturally.

Being in Durango, we're so fortunate to be close to regenerative farms, where we can source our grass-fed and finished beef suet (this is a key piece to our small business), and while I also found trusted sources for the botanicals we use, my mission (one day) is to be completely self-sufficient, where our property provides all of the herbs and florals in our formulas.

I'm so grateful you found us and truly appreciate your support, more than you know. Thank you for being here & taking the time to read this. XX, Jess
