Directions:
Mix 1:1 with an oil/distilled water/hydrosol/raw honey/etc. of your choice to detoxify your pores & renew your complexion! Use for daily skin exfoliation, apply as a mask, or use as overnight spot treatment.
*We love mixing this powder into our Ritual Tallow Oil and raw honey to cleanse our skin in the evenings, followed with a hydrosol, one of our tallow-based oils and then topped with a tallow balm ... Have fun with this powder and adjust as needed ratio as needed!

Tallow is wildly successful ancient skincare remedy, known as a rich emollient that can help repair, restore and protect the skin barrier at a cellular level, effectively promoting healthier, more radiant skin.
Our tallow is made from beef suet, sourced from a nearby regenerative ranch in Southwest Colorado; it is grass-fed + grass-finished, and free from harmful additives & preservatives that may be found in conventional skincare products.
We meticulously dry-render the beef suet in-house to form tallow; meaning we remove the impurities without the use of salt/water, melting/straining it by hand, to preserve its amazing nutrient-dense form.
Its fatty acid profile of CLA + stearic acid closely resembles our own natural oils (sebum) so it's easily absorbed and effectively replenishes our skin, without clogging pores.
It's as versatile as it is nourishing, providing rejuvenating antioxidants and bioavailable vitamins; a completely natural, all-purpose, non-comedogenic, restorative moisturizing agent for both face & body.

Shelf life is approx. one year and dependent on the following: To ensure longevity & effectiveness of our tallow-based products, please store them in a cool, dry area; room temperature (72 degrees & below) is best, and you may refrigerate during hot weather if needed. Please avoid exposure to water due to possible contamination, direct sunlight, and extreme temperature fluctuation.
Small-batch product variation: While we do our best to keep each batch nearly identical, no two cattle are alike, nor are our botanical-infusions; color, consistency & scent may vary due to the unique and natural differences in each handcrafted batch. Very slight "beef" aroma may also be present but should dissipate upon application.

Eric I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about the clay face mask at first. I'd recommend you use a ratio of 2:1 tallow oil to clay at first. It was way too easy to under hydrate the clay. Even after I applied it, I was still skeptical. But, MY LORD, after leaving it on for a few minutes and then rinsing it off, I have never felt my face so soft and smooth!! Such a great feel.
I compare this to Jack Black Deep Dive Glycolic Facial Cleanser with Kaolin Clay and Volcanic Ash. I consider the Jack Black to be a really good product, but it's got a lot of water and the Botanical Face Mask is far superior especially in post-use feel.
Highly recommend!!
