Hydrate & protect your lips naturally with UVA & UVB protectant lip balm, mindfully made with grass-fed | finished tallow, non-nano zinc oxide & a beautiful blend of organic plant-based oils for their moisturizing + shielding properties.

Tallow, a form of rendered beef fat, is a wildly successful ancient skincare remedy that closely matches our skin's sebum (aka natural oil), making it suitable for various skin types. It's non-comedogenic, deeply hydrating, and packed with bioavailable vitamins & rich fatty acids like CLA + stearic acid.  On its own, tallow has a SPF of 4 and is an ultra effective emollient, known to balance oil production & restore the skin barrier.

Carrot seed oil contains carotenoids, vitamin E & antioxidants, offering broad-spectrum protection & restorative properties; its SPF is around 40 on its own.

Non-nano zinc oxide is a gentle mineral powder, offering both incredible broad spectrum UVA + UVB protection. It acts as a barrier on the skin but doesn't enter the bloodstream like smaller particles could; safe for all skin types & environmentally safe as well! 

Our moisturizing blend also contains sweet almond oil for its high concentration of vitamin E and a natural SPF of 5, as well as organic beeswax for lasting protection.

Offered in three sizes: 
- 0.2 oz bamboo tube; traditional twist-up style.
- 0.5 oz biodegradable brown paper tube; push-up style.
- 1 oz biodegradable black paper tube; push-up style.
*Please note: Do not leave the paper tubes in the sun or in hot areas like parked cars; the balm does not contain synthetic waxes, it's more prone to melting & can leak from this tube.

Our tallow is meticulously dry-rendered from kidney fat, purposely sourced from local, regenerative Colorado ranches with the highest quality standards. No two cattle are alike; color, consistency & scent may vary due to the unique and natural variations in each batch. Very slight "beef" aroma may be present but should dissipate upon application.
*Please know that fat/oils melt & solidify with temperature fluctuation and can lead to the formation of tiny, bead-like grains in our balms; rest assured, this is normal & will not affect the balm's quality or safety for use.
Signature balm blend: A tallow base, combined with organic jojoba oil, often called "liquid gold" for its high concentration of vitamin E, anti-inflammatory & cleansing properties, as well as organic cold-extracted extra virgin olive oil for its nourishing antioxidants which improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
