A gentle infusion of sage, yarrow + rosemary; woodsy and herbaceous, with powerful skin-healing properties. We adore this blend for so many reasons; it's antimicrobial & naturally cleansing, anti-inflammatory, which will help reduce redness & swelling, a gentle astringent to help clear acne & provide relief to damaged skin, and packed with antioxidants to help tighten maturing skin & promote collagen growth.
Gently infused with therapeutic botanicals:
• Sage: This powerfully healing plant is a favorite of ours! It’s an astringent, which naturally tones + tightens maturing skin, it contains anti-inflammatory properties that minimize bacterial acne & eczema flare ups, rich in antioxidants that help combat free radicals (the sneaky culprits behind fine lines/wrinkles) and it’s packed with vitamins A, C, and E that naturally stimulate skin cell renewal, leaving you with a radiant, youthful glow!
• Yarrow: Well-known for its ability to soothe and calm inflamed skin. It can help lessen the redness, irritation, and inflammation caused by disorders like eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Its inherent antibacterial and antiseptic properties make it useful against bacteria that might cause skin infections or acne.
Added Organic Essential Oils
• Rosemary Verbenone: Slightly mild compared to your typical garden herb, but a powerful plant packed with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Helps cleanse and balance oil production for a more toned and healthy complexion.
• Cypress: Another powerhouse herb, with antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-fungal properties. Well-known to reduce bacterial acne, shrink pores, and calm irritated or inflamed skin by accelerating the healing process.
Why Tallow?
Tallow, a form of rendered beef fat/suet, is a wildly successful ancient skincare remedy, used primarily for deep hydration and its anti-inflammatory properties to calm redness, acne & promote healthy, glowing skin. It's non-comedogenic, making it less likely to clog pores, and nutrient-dense, due to its plentiful fatty acids like CLA + stearic acid, antioxidants, bioavailable vitamins, all of which will reverse damage, deeply moisturize & restore our skin barrier. Tallow's natural compatibility heals our skin on a cellular level & leaves skin hydrated & radiant!
Our signature whipped balm:
A nourishing tallow base, sourced locally from a beautiful regenerative Colorado ranch, carefully dry-rendered and whipped into a luxurious cream. Combined with organic non-comedogenic jojoba oil for its high concentration of vitamin E, anti-inflammatory & cleansing properties, as well as organic extra virgin olive oil for its restorative antioxidants. Please know - while this is called a cream, this formula does not contain water, fillers or synthetics.

Shelf life: Best if kept at room temperature but may be stored in fridge. Good for ~ 1 year.
*Note for our chapsticks: Please do not leave directly in the sun or in hot areas like parked cars; this balm doesn't contain synthetic waxes so it's more prone to melting & can leak from this tube.

We meticulously dry-render our beef suet (meaning we remove the impurities without the use of salt/water, to preserve is amazing nutrient-dense form). We purposely source the kidney fat from a local, regenerative ranch in Colorado with the highest quality standards. It is grass-fed and grass-finished; free from harmful additives and preservatives that may be found in conventional tallow.
No two cattle are alike; color, consistency & scent may vary due to the unique and natural variations in each batch. Very slight "beef" aroma may be present but should dissipate upon application.
*Please know that fat/oils melt & solidify with temperature fluctuation and can lead to the formation of tiny, bead-like grains in our balms; rest assured, this is normal & will not affect the balm's quality or safety for use.

Camie B I am absolutely obsessed with the whipped balm!! I am on my fourth jar and I am so glad it's so easily available! I think what I like most about the balm is it absorbs so quickly. I put it on my face and neck every morning followed by my sunscreen and every night after washing my face. If I remember I put in on in the afternoon for a quick pick me up. I am 63 nd have spent a lot of time outdoors—my face inks up the whipped balm gratefully in our dry rango climate :) Also, I have tried the lavender id sage/chamomile scents and both are very nice id calming. I can't wait for more product from Cowboy Trail Supply Co.—keep it coming please!!!

Crystal Duvall I have been using Remedy as a part of my nightly routine for a month now. When I wake up my skin feels soft and refreshed. Sometimes I do a touch up during the day or use it on my arms and hands because I’m constantly washing my hands. I also use the everything balm and rouge multiple times daily!
